2026 International Women's Day Art Exhibition

It’s once again time for our International Women’s Day Art Exhibition. It will be held at the Macleay Valley Community Art Gallery and this year the exhibition will run from Thursday the 5th of March to Sunday the 15th of March 2026. The Exhibition is open to all female artists who work in any medium and wish to enter. It is a non-competitive exhibition and is designed to showcase the many talents of women. Works should have not been exhibited in previous IWD Exhibitions.

We will be accepting entries from now until the Friday 28th February. Your work will need to be delivered to the Gallery at 5 Kinchela Street Gladstone NSW On Tuesday 3rd March 2026.. The cost of entry is $10.00 per artists, and we will accept two pieces per entry.

Please complete the attached entry form and Statement by a Supplier if you do not have an ABN. Please DO NOT deliver your entry to the gallery as we cannot guarantee that they will be processed.

We prefer payment of the $10.00 entry fee by direct deposit to our bank account at Coastline Credit Union BSB 704-189 Account 11008820, but we will accept payment by cash or cheque when you deliver your work to the gallery on the 3rd March 2026. International Women’s Day is the 8th of March and falls on a Sunday.

We are planning a celebration for Sunday 8th March 2026 at 2:00pm at the Gallery. Everyone is invited to join us for drinks and nibbles.

Please come and visit the Gallery between 10:30am and 4:00pm Thursday to Sunday during the two weeks of the IWD Exhibition.

This is a non-competitive exhibition celebrating women's artistic talents.

The MVCAG Committee invites entries from women working in any medium, e.g. Textiles, Painting, Sculpture, Floral Arrangements, Wood/Metal Work, Quilting, Ceramics etc. for this exhibition

EXHIBITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

· All work must be the original work of the artist and not been previously exhibited in IWD Exhibitions.

· All artworks must be presented ready for hanging on the galleries hanging system. D-rings 75mm from the top of larger works or 35mm from the top of smaller works. D rings can be purchased from hardware shops.

· All entries are accepted and displayed at the owner’s risk.

· Maximum size of artwork is 1m x 1m, including frame. This is to allow for maximum entries.

· Commission on sales will be applied at 17.5% (our normal commission) on all sales.

· Labels must be attached to the back of each work showing Artist’s name, Price & Title. · Enquiries to the Gallery, Booking Officer, or Cheryl Fyffe on 0476 142 784. Please pay entry fee by EFT to MVCAG account at Coastline Credit Union
