“IMPRESSIONS OF NATURE” PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION”

6 May 2026 – 17 May 2026 Open Wednesday to Sunday.

Denise McDermott and Giang Duong

We invite you to view their artworks in “Impressions of Nature” photographic exhibition and reflect on how nature influences both art and our own perceptions of the world.

The artworks on display capture the fleeting moments, the transient effects of light on the landscape, how it could change a scene’s appearance at different times of the day or in different weather conditions, a focus on light and its ephemeral nature, and a sense of spontaneity and immediacy.

It’s a celebration of movement, light and colour. It’s a perspective, a way of seeing the world.

It’s about capturing the ‘impression’ of a scene, the essence, mood, and emotion of the scene!

Viewers are invited to abandon preconceived notions, to embrace the beauty in the ordinary, and to see the world through a different lens. Take a moment to capture your own impression of the world!

Let the colours of the sky, the textures of the foliage, and the play of sunlight inspire you. Embrace the outdoors and let nature be your muse. As you immerse yourself in the process, you’ll find that there’s more to art than meets the eye. It’s about capturing a moment in time, a fleeting emotion, a spark of beauty that is there one second, and gone the next.

So, don’t just look at nature. See it, feel it, capture it!

One of us will be there every day to talk to visitors and answer questions.
